Okay, this is the daddy doing the bloggin', so bear with me on this one. I am getting as many pictures on here as I can to show everyone that we have an absolutely beautiful little boy. It all started on Saturday night, we headed to the hospital to induce labor. Jackie started on the drugs at 9:15 pm, then the stronger stuff around 1:15 am on Sun. The doctor broke her water at 11:05 am Sunday, she started into actual labor soon after. The contractions got really intense around 2-3pm, so the epidural came within the same time. After the epidural, things went great, Jackie was not in as much pain at all after that, that made me feel a ton better, the blood returned to my hand about five minutes later. Haha. The dialation process was about 1cm/hour until 3pm, where she was at 4cm, then by 6pm she was fully dialated and the nurse said it's time to push. We were all suprised, expecting to be waiting until at least 8 or 9 pm. She pushed from 6 to 7:10:07 pm. His head was stuck after the first ten minutes then after 45min + the rest of him came along. Too bad for Jackie his head size comes from his dad's side. So at 7:10 pm, We delivered our little boy.
His Name is Cole William Petersen,
Stats: 7 lbs. 11 oz.
22 inches long
36 cm Head
Born at 7:10 pm
So we would love to share the pictures with everyone, call or email if you want to know more. We are still at the hospital so mom is still recovering, but everything went perfectly. We couldn't ask for more. We have been so blessed. Thank you to everyone for all your love and support.
