4-S

My summer officially ended on Monday, and I'm so bummed. It's been a highlight of my life to have these 2 months to bond with Cole and spend every single second with him. And although I'm only going back to teach part-time, I'm still going to be sad that for 4 hours of the day I won't be with him. Luckily, my team teacher Shanna (she's teaching mornings, I'm teaching afternoons) is AMAZING and other than my own family, she is exactly who I would want watching him. I'm sure I'll feel better as we get into a routine and adjust to school again.

Every summer, Tegan and I have our annual Super Summer Sister Swap (hence 4-S) where she comes and stays with me and we do fun sister stuff. This is our 4th time, and in the past she usually can stay for a week or so and we get so much playing in. This year was different (with Cole so little), so we only got 2 days in but it was still a blast.

We went to the Utah Museum of Natural History at the U (I miss that campus! So beautiful), and we took my neighbor/Tegan's friend Makensie with us.

Tegan is such a poser :)
This is Al the Allosaurus, you feed him money and he talks to you!
I wish you could see their faces more on this one, but Cole just loves his auntie.
We also had a sleepover in the tent in the backyard with smores. Oh, and we went to Cherry Hill the next day! Super fun trip, thanks for coming out Tegan!

Also, Cole's neck has been getting a lot stronger as we've been practicing holding up that big melon. It's nice that we don't have to be as careful when we carry him around.

Here we are practicing on the boppy.
Now he's just showing off.
Side note: I know practically everyone has read this and talked about it already, but I just wanted to add my thoughts :) I'm not quite done, about 100 pgs left, but it's been one of my favorites, next to the first one. And, whenever I read any of her books in this series, it always makes me realize how wonderful Tyler is and appreciate our relationship more. Thanks for the hours of entertainment, Stephenie Meyer!

I can't believe how big Cole is getting! He really is a show off with that head control!! I too loved that last book! I'm seriously sad that it's over though I hear Stephanie Meyer is going to do more with some of the characters, yeah!

Jackie - That is such a good idea with your sister, to keep you close when your ages are so different! I also love Breaking Dawn. I'm in the middle and I'm excited to see what happens!
