What happens at Grandmas...

Will go on the blog sooner or later :) Sooner in this case, we haven't even been back from Neola for a week yet! I was REALLY looking forward to Easter/Conference weekend this time, because first it meant that my parent-teacher conferences were over, which I usually enjoy but is a lot of work and really draining, and second because we were going to get some quality family time in. Tyler miraculously had a 3 day weekend, so we planned an Easter egg hunt and volleyball watching on Saturday then went home on Sunday. We were going to be coming home Sunday night for Tyler to be back in time for work Monday morning, but once we got out there we realized I could stay for a couple more days until Tyler was off Wednesday and could come back and pick us up. Anyway it was a great weekend and I did get a couple pictures to document :)

We started with the city easter egg hunt, Cole had a blast and I was appreciative that although there were tons of kids there, they were prepared with tons of eggs and it was all really organized. We left with candy and toys and soaking wet shoes.

We also had Tegan with us which is always a good time.

Look at those cheeseballs!

At grandma and grandpa's we just played and played. Cole and Grandma had horsey races around the house, he was loving it. Kind of blurry but I had to put it in.

Then Tegan built a cave and it turned into a bear cave within seconds of Cole discovering it.

Mom took us to the Dinosaur Museum in Vernal, here's uncle Shane and Cole with the mammoth.

This one is totally my favorite, if i had to pick a dinosaur that looked like Cole, this would be it. I love his smile here.

This was yesterday morning, Cole found Tyler's running heart-rate monitor and watch and wanted to wear it. It made him go way fast around the house for about half an hour! Just like his daddy.
We've been moving stuff around the house this morning, trying to figure out how we're going to fit a baby and her needs into our already established life :) It ended up being trickier than we thought, just trying to consider late night feedings without waking Cole up, and also what works best where with the space we have. We ended up moving the rocking chair out into the living room, put up the cradle in our room, put up the crib in Cole's room (she'll be there in a few months anyway hopefully when she starts sleeping more at nights) and moved a couple other things in his room to make it all work. Thank goodness Cole just goes with the flow and handles change really well.
I think that's it for now! I'm going to take advantage of this quiet time (Cole's napping) to finish laundry, clean up a little, and maybe even take a nap myself :)
